Carol at Bentley Day Care CentreMusic to bring back the memories and lift the spirit;
Performing popular songs that bring back the memories and lifts the spirit Carol encourages her audience to sing with her. Carol is able to provide songbooks and percussion instruments, so that members of the group can participate if they so wish.

Carol at WoodlandsWorking within a group can be fun;
Carol uses a wide selection of songs that she can teach ‘actions’ to the group. These songs can be party dances, songs that tell stories and songs from our childhood. These sessions are popular with adults of all ages and suitable for people in wheelchairs and those with varying levels of abilities and / or communication skills. Interaction and laughter is a great way to bring people together. Identifying the needs of the audience / client group is very important and a session can be tailored to suit.

The benefits of having a live music session;

  • Music is a wonderful way to bring people together. It helps to link the community together.
  • Words and music can be healing and inspirational. It lifts the spirits and evokes memories.
  • Participating can be fun.

Carol has been working with the following organisations; BUPA, Community Link Up, MIND, Real Life Options & Westminster Healthcare.

"Carol has been 'instrumental' in developing musical participation at our integrated 1:1 club for people with learning disabilities. Carol has a knack of choosing songs and delivering them in an inclusive way which entertains and gives great joy to everyone."
